A lady hit my car in a private parking lot. I have her name, telephone #, type of car and address. How can I get her insurance info and plate #?|||Give YOUR insurance company all the info you got. They will call the other party for you and get her insurance info. Let your insurance company handle everything. That is what you pay them for.|||You better hope that she gives you her insurance info. Since you failed to write the plate number while getting her personal info, you could be SOL. Also no police were called to the scene, which in a parking lot is common, but on a police report, guess what, they give name/address/make/model, plate # and insurance info on the report.
You should have asked her at the scene for her insurance card which would have had the name of the company and a 800# to file a claim, but you only got personal info, and she could decide to not take any calls from you, thus no info.
If you have collision coverage on your car, call YOUR insurance company and file a claim, then if they pay, they will go after her for reimbursement.

Call her, and ask for her insurance information, if she gives you the run around. Call the police (not 911) and explain what happened. Insurance companys have to report who/what the insure to the DMV. The DMV has the insurance information, as do the police. They can help you if they care enough.|||Call the police with this info.|||I need to know the laws of your state.
