Can you pay my bills, can you pay my telephone bills ?

In a relationship, you imagine yourself as the active, the one who pays the bills, drives the car, makes the thing, or the one who is submissive and accepts the partner wishes ?|||My husband and I share everything 50/50.|||what about the third option where a relationship is an equal partnership|||Um...no|||No, and Hell NO!

Why is the telephone wire not being chased by a bull? is it because thegreenies lied to it? or is it just pee?

Well, i feel like parking my car on a pickle!|||wowsers!! You took too many of your happy pills today eh?? The bull can not reach the telephone wire. The telephone wire is stationary...so the bull wouldnt have to chase it...just run up to it. Not sure who the greenies are...but from what I understand..they are honest. My pee is yellow and not green.

I parked my car under the carport!!|||Don't Do Drugs

Am trying to find the telephone number to the Better Business Bureau in OK.?

I am trying to report a used car dealer who sold me a car that after less than three months now needs a transmission %26amp; engine rebuild/replacement and the dealer won't even return my phone calls anymore.|||The Better Business Bureau serving LAWTON, OK is:

Purchased a used car with a built in car phone?

I just bought a "used" vehicle and on the rear view mirror...there is a button for on-star...and a button for a telephone....How do i add minutes to this phone...or how do i obtain the phone number for the phone?|||you don't it takes electricity from the car`s battery

I saw a gay twink at the mall & wrote my name & number on a piece of paper & placed it in his car door-handle?

I wrote that I thought he was cute, etc and left him my name, email, and telephone number.

Have you ever done something like that ?

Is it appropriate?

Does it ever work?|||Ha ha priceless! Hope it was his car. I have done this at restaurants and have actually gotten calls back. I am very straight-acting and the guy called asking if I wanted to hurt him because he didn't think I was gay. We dated for 2 years. And then someone else gave him his number.|||No, I've never done it.

But it has happened to me twice and I never called them.

I just feel weird about calling the number and saying "hey, it's the guy on whose car you left your number" and endure the silence of him not knowing what to say.

So my advice is to have something prepared in case he calls you.|||Talking to them is more effective.

You are down to one point, you have no contact info, and do not allow access to your questions and answers.

At least you are consistent.|||i did that one time and it worked. it was more of a friendship type thing because she was a girl too, but then again i didnt know who she was i just left a note saying i loved the bumper stickers on her car.|||If there is no picture than you just gave out your info for nothing.. If it were me, I'll get creeped out. And what if that twink wasn't gay? Man, you're screwd.|||Hmm.. Never thought of doing that before... Imma try it the next time I see a beautiful girl.

I also think adding a picture wouldn't scare em off unless you ugleee haha|||No I'm too shy.

Who cares if it's appropriate?

I'm curious if he calls.

I say bravo for your courage, I hope it works out.|||idk. it might be appropriate.|||sure, why not. at least that way if he thniks you are gross and stupid and ugly you wont even know it and wont be embarrassed|||no... that is kind... of weird.. but its just me, who know maybe he wanted to call you :]

No, I haven't done anything like that :P|||I never did it.|||You are a mess! Seriously, I wouldn't call you.|||ahhh.... thats sorta creepy i think, lol

What are the five greatest achievements of humankind?

I think it is cars, telephones, airplanes, computer/internet and hot water!

But there is just so many, what do you think?|||Printing press: Made it so much easier to print and disseminate information.

The micro-processor: key to all modern digital technology.

The wheel. Might seem obvious to us, but it is the basis of all later developments in gears, pulleys and bearings. Most societies never developed it, and most that did never put it to practical use.

The Scientific Principle: this led to the development of modern investigative practices in chemistry, physics and more including invention and research and development of technologies.

The telescope: this device, and some great thinkers, assisted in redefining how we saw ourselves in the universe.

And lastly, a sixth for good measure:

BEER! Need I say more?|||Soap, combustion engine, microscope, telescope, astrolabe

Each of these, I feel, has dramatically altered the world after its invention.|||Tools, language, books, agriculture and civilization. These 5 things fit nicely adjacent to one another because each one couldn't have succeeded without the previous, they are all uniquely human inventions.

Remember that humankind thrived just fine without the inventions that you mentioned and arguably they were better off without all the modern things which make life easy. In addition, I think that the best human achievements probably aren't even tangible inventions, they are probably just abstract notions that we take for granted, like compassion, understanding, love, ambition and integrity. For however idealist and untrue you think that is, all humans are endowed with the capacity to achieve all of these things within their lifetime and they are the things that make life bearable and continue to drive the human race forward.

If my car company only accepts checks by mail, can I still use online bill pay through Bank of America?

The finance company also accepts payments over the phone, but they charge you $8 for every payment made over the phone. I typed in all of the information (company name, address, telephone number, etc) and it all went through, and Bank of America is letting me make the payment. How does this work? How do they receive the payment? %26amp; will it be safe to send the payment one-two days before the due date?|||Bill pay will work fine

Be careful about sending payments one or two days before.

I would never, in a million years consider cutting it that close.

/|||It should work, but 1 or 2 days before the due date is way too close to avoid being late.

How do I understand the telephone number code?

hey i want to get a basic concept of how to understand the phone code like the 877-CASH-NOW and how does 227 mean car and 938 mean wet such when you dial the number in your phone how it means letters does anyone know?|||The original use of letters on telephone dials was for exchange names. Various combinations were used in the early days, but eventually the American dial settled on the now familiar assignments: 2-ABC, 3-DEF, 4-GHI, 5-JKL, 6-MNO, 7-PRS, 8-TUV, 9-WXY.

In earlier times it was thought that long strings of numbers were harder to remember, and thus the first part of the phone number was dialed as letters representing the name of the telephone office which served the district. There were various schemes involving the use of one, two, or three letters, but eventually the standard scheme in the U.S. was to use two letters followed by five numbers. The two letters plus the first number indicated the telephone office, as today.

So you could have numbers such PLaza 1-2345 or MAdison 6-7890. The letters and names were purely for human convenience. As far as the equipment was concerned, you were just dialing 751-2345 or 626-7890, with the 751 or 626 indicating which exchange the call was destined for.

Of course, if you dialed "7" the equipment had no way of knowing whether you intended that to be the digit 7, or one of the three letters P-R-S.

Thus if a city had PLaza 1 (751) and PLaza 2 (752) numbers, it could not also have PLymouth 1 or PLymouth 2, but it could have PLymouth 3 (753). Similarly, if a city had a BEekman 5 exchange it could not also have ADams 5, since that would be the same prefix (235), but it could have ADams 4 or ADams 6, etc.

In most areas the use of exchange names/letters was dropped during the 1960s, but a few places still used them right up until the late 1970s.

With all-figure numbers it became possible to use prefixes for which it had previously been very difficult to devise suitable names, e.g. there weren't many sensible names one could make from 99x, 55x, 59x, and 95x codes.

The modern use of the letters in promoting business is simply companies requesting specific numbers so that they can then advertise in the way you describe. So to use your example, the company simply obtained the number 877-227-4669 so that they could show it as 877-CASH-NOW. You could just as easily advertise it with any other combination of letters which match the numbers, e.g. 877-CAR-I-MOW. As far as the telephone equipment is concerned, you are just dialing 877-227-4669. It neither knows nor cares whether you are dialing some of those digits as letters.|||._. there should be letters on the keys|||there are letters on the keys starting with 2 going to 9 all of them have 3 letters except 9 which has wxyz.|||As the previous questioner said there are letters on most modern keypads. If you have such a keypad you will notice that each number can mean one of several letters (or in the case of number 1 no letters at all!)

Basically the letters are actually nothing to do with what you are dialling, you are actually dialling numbers corresponding to the letters and the telephone exchange recognises the numbers not the letters.

The letters are simply there for convenience and ease of memorising and advertising: generally the company will try and obtain a number which works out to suitable letters like 877-CASH-NOW.

What should I do with an old car key belonging to Carcraft?

I've found a key belonging to Carcraft In Rochdale. It looks quite old but I don't know whether to return it..

One car accident in snow~Collision Loss?

I got into an accident yesterday due to a careless driver in front of me, hitting his brakes too fast in the snow and ice, causing me to break, slide and skid off the road, hitting a telephone pole. No other car was effected just me and the pole. Can I claim this under collision loss? What is the deal with that, and does my insurance go up after this claim?|||That would be a collision loss %26amp; it is an at fault loss too. You will have to pay your deductible, then your policy will pay up to the actual cash value of your vehicle. If you did damage to the pole, your liability will pay the electric company %26amp; phone company (%26amp; possibly the cable company) for the damages. It will be a chargeable claim on your policy (unless you have first accident forgiveness which some companies do but you would have to ask your company that question) %26amp; normally surchargeable for 3 yrs.

Unfortunately, you cannot blame the person in front of you, even though he hit his brakes too fast - what if someone had run into the street in front of him, there are times when people need to brake fast. You were following too closely %26amp; driving too fast for road conditions.|||sorry, you are at fault for losing control of your vehicle, regardless of what the guy in front of you did.|||I agree with Sue!

Well put!|||This is a collision loss.

Your collision coverage will pay for the damage to your car. Your liability coverage will pay for any damage to the telephone pole.

This will be considered an "at fault" accident.

You were driving too fast for conditions. Even in bad weather, you are supposed to leave enough room between the vehicle in front of you and your vehicle - that the front vehicle can make an emergency stop and you are able to stop with out losing control of your vehicle or hitting the car in front of you. If the other driver was able to hit is breaks too fast but still maintain control of his car......but you lost control of yours....that means you were traveling too fast for the road conditions.|||Errrr.... this IS a collision loss. The deal is you will have to pay a deductible when you pick up your car after repairs are completed and YES -- there is a very, very good chance your rates will go up somewhat depending upon factors such as driving record, frequency of claims, age, etc.

P.S. -- the telephone pole will be covered (if damaged) under your liability policy.|||Yes this would be considered a collision loss.

Your agent would be able to tell you for sure if your premiums will go up or not

I just saw a car accident, and I'm still freaking out!?

I saw a car accident about 2 hours ago, some stupid guy ran a stop sign while speeding, in this little car and sent a mini van flying! I was a witness, and both cars came crashing onto my front lawn, braking a telephone pole in half, and well, my dad called police etc.

So, my question is, I'm still freaking out about it, my heart is going fast and everything. Is this normal? |||its normal, its a panic. try to cool off, go inside the house and take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. try drinking some cold water as well, it should help. sorry you had to see a car accident as severe as that...also, do you have a history of panic attacks? if not, then just do as i suggested above. if you do have a history, i suggest talking to your parents. they should know what to do

Where can i be approved for a $7,000 dollars car loan, with no-bad-but-new credit history?

I'm in need of a car up grade, but i never had any loan, credit card, or even a telephone plan that requires credit... what can i do to get approved for a car loan of 7,000 or less?|||Depends on your age, income, length at residence, time on job, down payment %26amp; so forth.

As a general rule, most people with no credit cannot get a $7000 loan without a HUGE down payment and/or a cosigner with very good credit.

Oh, and you must be at least 19 to finance.|||A lot of banks and credit unions will only give loans for $7,500 or more - but most of them say so right on their website. Your best bet might be a dealership, maybe even one of those bad credit dealerships. With no credit you'll likely have a high interest rate, so do whatever you can to pay the loan off early. Lenders look at your credit score, but also other factors like how much your down payment or trade in is, how much income you have each month and how long you've been at your job. On the bright side, as long as you make all the loan payments on time you'll be building a good credit score for the future. Good luck!|||The question does not mention a tiny detail: country, region and city. Thus the answer would be as useless as "please try some local bank". In many countries new credit history would mean only a bit higher rates. $7000 can be too small for some countries, that's worse.|||Ask!

Well, that was complicated.

No credit is basically the same as bad credit for companies, but someone will be happy to risk it to get money out of your pocket and into theirs!|||Your best bet is to check with a local credit union.

Does this mean I have to write an argumentative essay?

Your purpose is to write an essay, to be read by a classroom instructor, in which you analyze the impact of a particular technological advance on modern society.

Select one of the following technological innovations: the telephone, the computer, the automobile; the television, the tractor; the skyscraper; or the nuclear power plant.

Discuss the advantages and/or disadvantages of that technology for individuals and society.

Can I write about nuclear power plants and explain that without it, we wouldn't have cars, telephones, tractors, or computers or is it asking to just explain which of these i think is most important but i cant include telephone, cars, tractors, or computers?

ALSO HOW SHOULD I START IT OFF BECAUSE ITS SUPPOSE TO BE ON AP college level..

iM IN HIGH SCHOOL

Also when writing an argumentative essay, can i write in thrid person or no?|||yeah, pretty much

you're just arguing what impact one of the technological innovations have

you should definitely write this in third person unless your teacher told you otherwise :)

also, if that's true about nuclear power plants, you could say that, but i think you're supposed to focus on just one of them

so if you wanted to include that statement, i wouldn't make it your thesis but one of the main points

like your thesis would be how it allowed other technologies to make it to the market faster or something like that AND like how it cut down on pollution blablabla but also probs should inclue radiation

but like i said, you should just focus on one of the technologies, like cars, and say how that impacts/has impacted modern society

you don't necessarily have to pick which one you think is most important, but just one from the list

i would first write an outline and then start your essay

then youll have a better idea of how to organize it and what to put for your intro

good luck :)

also ask your teacher to look at what you have if you want more feedback :)

What does it mean when you dream of being in a car accident?

i had a dream the other night, it was my cousin and i . i was driving and he was saying something about me needing to slow down. the next thing i know i crashed into a telephone pole but it was all in slow motion after the accident i remember seeing myself lying on the floor looking around im not sure if i was hurt or not.. please help!|||Just drive safe I guess lol.|||Dreams are symbolic. A car in your dream symbolizes you, your life. The one driving the car in your dream is the one in control of your life.

So... ok, you are driving, that means you are in control of yourself in your waking life. Your cousin in the dream could actual symbolize him, or someone else in your life who has suggested that you take something a bit more slowly, carefully.

You crash into the pole. A car crash symbolizes your emotional state. In your waking life, are you "driving" yourself too hard? Is your life too hectic, does it feel out of control at times? If so, perhaps you should slow your life down a bit. If your life feels like it is set on a course for disaster, examine your mistakes and resolve to set a new and better course.

If your life does not feel this way to you, the dream could just be a warning to you to take another look at things. Maybe things are moving too fast for you and you aren't even aware of it.|||Accident - To dream of a car accident, symbolizes your emotional state. You may be harboring deep anxieties and fears. Are you "driving" yourself too hard? This dream may tell you to slow down before you hit disaster. You need to rethink or re-plan your course of actions and set yourself on a better path.|||It means that your mind was thinking about how you should probably drive slower, and that it's worring about getting into a car accident.

You should probably take it's concerns with a little bit of thought. Do you think you drive fast?

SHould I connect my iPod to my car by soldering wires to the CD leads on the CD board of the headunit to my A?

I want to connect my iPod to my car by soldering wires to the CD leads on the CD motherboard of the headunit to my Acura. Basically I would take a wire small enough to get there, maybe telephone, and solder it onto the CD leads, then connect them to a 3.5mm jack and use my iPod shuffle. The only caveat to this is that I would have to put in a blank CD and have that run the entire time I want to have the iPod on. Is this procedure recommended? Has anyone tried this and was happy/upset with the results? Do you have any recommendations to doing this? Thanks|||A very bad idea if your not a veteran installer. I am and would rather get the adapter like the last guy said.|||Search Ebay, there is a special adaptor for this available - just around twenty dollars or so.

Who Offers Car Phone Services?

I was wondering, if anyone knows if in-car phone services are still available. My car has a built-in telephone (like limos have/had) and I was wondering if there is a company that still offer car phone service.|||I have a Motorola car phone build in and they have service most cell phone company will hook you up but if its a old phone service might be spotty

but ive had Motorola service since 1992

hope that helps

Lr|||It's not a separate service. It's the same cell phone just a large one and most likely old analog, not digital. So it might or might not work with your cell phone company. Just call a cell phone company, tell them the exact model of that phone and ask how to activate it. Ask if it will work on their system.

No more new inventions to make life easier?

Most of the items being invented are luxuries and entertainers. Making the life comfortable like telephone, car or medical inventions- there are no more to come? I feel space hunt is a waste.|||There are far better goals to pursue than even making life easier. How about making life sustainable? How about managing our resource consumption?|||It is hard to predict when a new invention will come along, or even what it will be. There have been several occasions in the past where people have suggested closing the US Patent office because what new inventions could be made, but then new inventions are subsequently discovered. Some scientists before Einstein even thought that there would be no new discoveries in science. Finally, we don't know what invention has been made that is just waiting for someone to figure out just how to use it. Velcro was around for a while before people realized how handy it could be. In fact, many of our modern conveniences were created for some purpose other than what we use them for, such as Alexander Graham Bell's device to talk to his deceased mother. Life is much easier when one can use the telephone to communicate with others.|||"space hunt is a waste"

Okay, get rid of GPS which is out in space and allows location of lost people. Get rid of low cost long distance telephone, which uses satellites. Get rid of cable TV almost all of which is sent to local providers by satellite. Get rid of medical services using satellite in various ways.

And easier is a curious word to use - how about safer? Isn't that more important?|||I wouldn't say that. There are many things to be invented that would make life more easier. For example, diabetics have to take three or four needles a day. (I am not familiar with the exact number). That is because insulin can't survive the stomach. So i hear they are working on a pill that can survive in the stomach. An insulin pill would be a great invention.|||you should see it carefully that every second there is a new invention happening.

If someone passed out while driving and hit another car killing the person inside, what would happen...?

...to the driver that passed out. If they were not under the influence of anything. They just haven't eaten anything in a while. What would happen if they just crashed into a telephone pole and not a car?|||If it was a medical condition like the had a stroke seizure or something else and did not know about any condition they have that could have caused it basically nothing. They had no forethought or malice about doing what they did.|||If it is something they had no control over, they may not get charged at all. In order to be charged, there would have to be carelessness or neglect.

However, failure to eat is under your control. They could be charged with negligent homicide, manslaughter, or vehicular homicide depending on their state law.|||They would still be at fault. I had an accident where I passed out do to health issues and hit another car. Thank the Lord no one was really hurt. I was listed as high risk on my car insurance and my rates really went up.|||They would probably be charged with reckless endangerment of life while driving and could go to jail for a long long time.

Name , date of birth , telephone, address, and etc. So whats preventing me from getting a loans or credit cards?|||Each creditor has it's own criteria. Find out your credit score, as that is one of the things credit grantors use in their decision. The credit score tells you what is potentially causing applications to be denied. When you apply for a loan, ask what score they require.

Remember, creditors look at a lot of different factors, such as your income, how much debt you currently have, and your past credit. If one company denies you, ask why. They have to provide a reason, and that gives you the information you need to fix the problem (if there is one).

EDIT: @Kirsten. Okay... So that was both sad and exceptionally silly. While I'm sure we all appreciate the sentiment, I politely disagree, and I hope you didn't think this opinion of yours would hold any impact on how she feels about what she's doing. I can't see why it would, it's just smoke. You do realize that there is more to writing than just the objects that influence it, right? Heard of mystery? Heard of characters? And there is nothing wrong with asking for help if you're stuck on something trivial like this. There is honor in charity, so just answer the question next time instead of acting like a douche and trying to make a person doubt the worth of their own existence. It's extremely petty. Now go hug a puppy or something, I can feel your deepseated unhappiness from here.|||Thanks Amanda. I hope she didn't make you feel bad at all. You have nothing to worry about - the outer tire, what you see with the yellow marks will be fine. I'm sure there was not enough damage to cause a leak. You would have to bend the rim for that to happen.

If you are not feeling comfortable after that incident, maybe you should hold off on the lessons and become comfortable again with a car. Maybe you could learn a little about them mechanically - you'll never know when it could come in handy.

But for sure you should try to obtain your permit first - then log some hours of driving with others.|||dont worry|||hahahahahaha thats the funniest thing i've heard all day|||say you wern't driving, the instructor was. your word against his. lol|||Nothing just let it go.|||I think the driving instructor is a lot more qualified than you to determine if the tire is unsafe. If he is not scared to drive with it, you should not be scared of him driving with it.

How much should I get for a foot fracture I recieved in a car accident? I was a passenger.?

I received a fracture in my 5th metacarpal bone in my foot. They are treating without surgery, because a pin may further damage the bone. However, they didn't rule out the possibility of needing surgery sometime in the future. The accident happened in NY, and I live in CA. We swerved to miss a deer, and hit a telephone pole instead. I was out of work for one month, and am back on limited hours. I am a hairdresser, so standing on my feet all day is common. THe Dr. told me today, that it may be 3 more months until the bone is healed.....so no hiking trips or other activities I enjoy. Does anyone know what ammount I should look at for a settlement? I really don't want to involve a lawyer, but I already feel like the company is trying to jerk me around. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!|||I was in an accident that tore my shouler apart, requiring surgery, a total of 6 months of physical therapy, and 3 years of post-surgical pain.

By the time all my bills were paid back to my health insurance and my lawyer took his cut, I got $20K.

A friend of mine got hit by a car while riding his bike and got even less, despite months of PT and now must live in constant pain.

My recommendation is to get a lawyer if you are looking to get anything more than your medical bills paid. It sounds like you are about to sue a friend. I did as well.

Funny things will start happening when yoy sue a friend. People you don't talk to will come out and say you did this or said that. You friend will understand, but probably take it personally anyway. The insurance will blame your injury on everything else. If you get into another accident (like I did), Lord help you.

My views and advice:

1. Get a lawyer (you will get what you pay for...remember that...don't be afraid to ask them about previous victories and screw ups). The insurance is going to string you along until the statute of limitations is up (2 years in Illinois). A good lawyer will also make sure you receive good medical care at intervals that won't screw up your case)

2. Be prepared for a very stressful time. Going through lawsuits sucks...period.

3. Don't expect to get much. A lawyer friend of mine who worked both sides of auto claims told me to expect about 2 times medical bills (and you pay the bills out of that). Medical bills can be negotiated (another thing a lawyer should do for you..my medical bills had about a $50K sticker price...my insurance negotiated with the doctors and my laywer with the insurance. In the end, I think I paid about $12K for medical.)

Good luck. Get a lawyer!!!

Edit: BTW...if you think you might need surgery, a lawyer can work the system so that you can continue medical treatment after the statute of limitations. You might be able to have a lawyer stall long enough to figure out if you need surgery or not|||My wife had an accident that involved another driver who was at fault so it's not similar to your situation but she was also hesitant about hiring a lawyer. Eventually she had no choice because the insurance company simply would not return her calls. Unfortunately the insurance companies sometimes make it almost impossible to handle these things without involving lawyers. As soon as she hired a lawyer things started to happen and the insurance company started to respond and she is expecting to get a settlement within 120 days. I can't answer your question about how much your injury is worth but you may want to at least consider looking for a lawyer. Try asking friends or getting referrals from people who know a good lawyer. Sometimes a little push from a lawyer can go a long way to getting things moving. If you get a reputable lawyer things should move fairly smoothly. The lawyer will get 33% of your settlement but settlements handled by lawyers are usually much higher than if you try to settle on your own. If you decide to go it alone you can look at this site for information that you should gather to build your case. http://accident-law.freeadvice.com/auto/car-accident-claim-worth.htm or search "car accident worth"

I hope this helps! Good luck!|||they will try to get u to settle for as little as possible but because u have lost work and may have to lose more put that together and then add a few grand on top for pain and sufering my uncle was hit in the head by a peace of ice and got 50k pluse med and lawyer fees but mined you will always get more with a lawyer then on ur own get a lawyer it will be better for u and them|||You need a lawyer. The defendant's insurance company will jerk you if you don't have one. Almost all law firms in New York work on retainers, that they take 1/3 of what ever you recover as their fee. They might take out expenses they spent on your case also. Since NY is a no-fault state and you're accident happened in NY, then you don't have a deductible or copay, so that's a good thing.

Is your metacarpal bone the only thing fractured? Do you have any other injuries? When insurance companies evaluate a case, they look at the injuries. What are yours? I'd hate to say it but you didn't do surgery on your foot. So to insurance companies, they don't recognize a fracture without surgery. Did you herniate any discs in your neck or back? If you did, then you can include that too.

NY is a threshold state. If you have a verbal threshold on your policy, then you must prove permanent injuries. Permanent is herniations, broken bones, loss of a fetus, etc. Bulges are not recognized in NY as a permanent injury.

You said that there might be a possibility that you will need a surgery in the future. Did you think how you would afford it if you don't have health insurance coverage in the future? Insurance companies are willing to pay now. Who will pay later?

Your case will be worth a lot more if you do the surgery. Do physical therapy too. Its seems like you have a case thats probably worth about 20-25K. Do the surgery it will be worth at least 40K.|||First, insurance companies are not afraid of attorneys. And they will pay the same with one as without. You'd need to tell us a little more about this for us to say. Where it happened in New York makes a difference as well.

Do you really plan on hiking this time of year?

Off the top of my head I'd say 10-15,000, but all claims are different, all injuries are different, and no one here will hit this on the nose.|||Just enough to cover the med bills and the amount of money lost for work purposes.

I parked my car in a designated parking spot in a holiday park?

somebody telephoned the police and they said it was abandoned so the car was took away now it is going to cost about æ‹¢300.00 to recover the vehicle is this legal. It is taxed and tested.|||now tell us the whole story.

Cars get towed away if they are

a. parked illegally

b. blocking the highway

c . blocking driveways or emergency access points

d. if they are abandoned without tax and the last known registered keeper is not contactable.

they do not get towed away for nothing if they are taxed and insured etc.

j|||If it was a designated parking spot im sure they wouldnt have just towed your car. Are u sure there wasnt a sign that said max stay "so many hours" ? Cos if there was and u were parked there more than the max stay i guess the parking attendent would have had to get it towed. If it was a designated parking spot there would have been a parking attendent so maybe u should track him down?|||Cmon , use your head for something other then a HAT RACK. It's your own fault.|||"I parked my car in a designated parking spot in a holiday park"

And then what? Walked off and left it there without being a customer? Left it over night? Cars don't get ordered towed without cause. What are you leaving out here? Perhaps a sign "Customer parking only" and you weren't, or "No overnight parking" and you did?

Tell us the rest of it. And in most cases you can contact the person (apparently the police in your case) and ask for a review. Did you do that?

You say it's "going to cost", does this mean you didn't get it yet? If not do so now, or the bill will go up by the daily storage rate.|||If it was not designated for your use then yes it is legal as you should not have parked there.

Is it illegal for somebody to tap into your phone line for free telephone service?

My father-in-law was killed in a car accident in May. He left the business to my husband. The house is also on the same property. His former spouse lives there with some other guy. My father-in-law was getting divorced the day after his accident. So she moved back in. We found out that the guy who is living with her has run a phone wire from my husband's shop down to their house. Recently she kicked the business off of the property. She doesn't like my husband because his dad left him everything and she got nothing. Anyway, the phone at the shop is in my husband's business' name. They are using it for free. My husband is going to check into filing a police report tomorrow. Will this give the ex-wife prison time or a fine?? She has really caused this family a lot of grief. I want to see her get what she deserves.|||This is absolutely illegal, but, will the police get involved? Probably not. They will probably tell you to call the phone company and ask them to check for theft of service. Then the phone company can file charges against them if they want to.|||YES YES YES

The car has not appeared and the given email, company name, telephone number no longer works. TCC Logista were the freight company in spain who were 'holding' the money until we were happy with the car at which point the money would be transfered to the seller. Police in UK have a statement, but it is a crime in Madrid so where do we go?|||Definetely a scam. The only other advice I can offer is to look at how your boyfriend sent his payment. If he used his bank ( a certified bank check for instance), he can check with the bank to see if the charges can be reversed. If he used Western Union, you cant reverse that charge.

I am sorry your boyfriend got caught by a scammer. Best of luck to you both|||Sounds like he got scammed. You never send money over seas unless you are absolutely sure you know what your doing. It sounds like you have done everything you can by contacting the authorities but your boyfriend will probably never see his money again. Unfortunately it's a very common thing. Sorry.|||Try the police in Madrid. This is not an uncommon scam and I would have to assume that the car never existed and the money is long gone. Has anyone been involved in a car accident and briefly what happened?

When I was 16, I was working 70-80 hrs. a week. I fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a telephone pole. I had my seatbelt on. Thank God or I'd be dead! I had a hairline fracture in my breast bone from the seatbelt. I had a burn mark on my neck from the seatbelt but it saved my life. I knew |I was going to go off the road, and immediately straightened the car up for the impact, but going head-first at 70mph into a tree is never a good idea!

The engine ended up underneath the car and I was hurt. Somehow, I managed to bend the steering wheel with my arm and chest, but didn't break any bones.

What should I do if an illegal immigrant is threatening, worrying or harrassing me over a cell telephone?

I have noticed that the police take the harrassers car, but he is left free to go walking. The police do not know he is a harrasser because he acts like a nice man to others.Thank you for your help.|||Can you make a recording of these phone calls? That would be evidence you could bring to the police. You need to find out if you are allowed to record phone calls in your state without getting the other person's permission, because you don't want to get in legal trouble yourself. The laws vary from state to state. The police will never know that this man is a problem if you do not report him. They may not be able to arrest him for being an illegal alien because they do not have federal jurisdiction, but they can arrest him if he is committing other crimes.|||Get a concealed weapons permit and carry your own personal protection.|||It doesn't matter if your harasser is legal or illegal. The most likely explanation is that you saw a reflection of a green light from some source like a traffic signal or a railway signal, and it was given an exaggerated motion by the involuntary movement of your eyes.

Our brains are designed to recognize patterns and characteristic motions, and they are so good at it that we often see such phenomena when they are not really there. Faces in the clouds, eyes in ocean waves, and that sort of thing.

I hit a telephone pole when I skid of the road. What does my insurance need to know?

I left the scene, which involved no vehicle but my own, to call for my cousin to come help me. The police picked me up in the meantime for leaving scene. Does insurance need to know that, or is that irrelevant to the fact that the car is wrecked?|||Are you in good hands? That's all state's stand.|||Since you got picked up, there is a public record , and the insurance company has to know everything. They check police records so they will find out anyway. Better you confess up front.|||as long as the telephone didn't need repair u don't need to tell them but to fix your car u wud be covered under collision if u have that coverage minus your deductible since it was your fault and not the t oles fault u probably wud get a huge surcharge on your next policy period if the damages to your car are over $500.00|||They dont particularly care that you left the scene- what they do care abvout is damage to the telephone phone- why would you pay that out of pocket?! your going through your insurance anyways for an at fault accident.. they would have paid that no problem?! You just spend hundreds of dollars you dont need to.

Fact of the matter is- insurance isnt the police. they dont care if you were drunk, left the scene, what you did.. all they care is whether you were at fault or not... and what damage you caused to other property/people|||yes since it is now on record.

insurance company will eventually find out so it's better to tell them this than have them find out later.

if the police picked you up... did you call them? if not someone eyewitnessed it.|||Tell them the truth.|||How your insurance covers it will depend upon what state you live in. Your company will run a check of your record, so they will know whatever the police cited you for. What happens after they run the check, again, depends upon how your company is filed to do business in your state.

If all you're cited for is fleeing the scene and it was just property damage you paid for out of pocket, they may do nothing.

If they have to charge you for a fleeing the scene citation, your rates may go up.

If you made a claim for them to fix your car under collision coverage, or fix the pole under property damage, your rates probably will go up.

Bottom line is, they WILL find out on their own, and will take action however they are filed to do so in your state. Good luck!|||Had you not gotten picked up for leaving the scene then no they wouldn't need to know.. But since you did, and there was a report filed then yeah you should tell them. Cuz if you lie to them, and they cross check police records with your name, and find out. They don't have to pay out to you, or maybe even insurance fraud. Depending on how far they want to take it... I would just tell them what happended show them the receipt for the pole, and if you have collision on your policy you could get your veh fixed, and possible reimbursement for the pole. Of course subject to your ded..|||If your not planning on them paying anything, then let them figure it out on their own.

They will catch it eventually, but wouldn't call them.

If you do need to file a claim to have your car fixed, then yes, you need to tell them the truth about what happened.|||I'm not sure why you would not tell them about it. First, your contract requires you to report any accidents. If the phone pole is paid for and you are not making a claim for your damages, then you don't need to report it. If you do need to report it, then you should answer all questions asked honestly. You have a legitimate (it would seem) reason for leaving the scene, so the fact that you got that ticket won't change the fact that you're at fault for the accident will it? The only thing you need to worry about is points on your license and whether those will increase your rates. However, your insurance will find that out when they check your record regardless of whether you tell them.|||tell them everything. any discrempancies and the ins. comp. can refuse to cover. the state can take you to court and charge you for the cost of the pole.(never leave the scene of an accident)

What kind of tree's are telephone poles made from?

I was curious to know if they have a specific type, height, etc...This came to mind when I was stuck in traffic the other day and they were replacing one that had been destroyed by a car accident. Any ideas??|||Most are cedar.

"Utility poles are divided into ten classes, from 1 to 10. The classes' definition specifies a minimum circumference that depends on the species of tree and the length of the pole. This circumference is measured 6 feet from the butt of the pole. There is also a minimum top circumference that is the same for all species and lengths.

For example, a class 1 pole has a minimum top circumference of 27 inches. If it is 25 feet long and cedar (most utility poles are cedar), the circumference measured 6 feet from the bottom must be at least 43.5 inches.

The higher the class number, the skinnier the pole. Pole lengths start at 16 feet and increase by 2-foot steps to 22 feet, then by fives from 25 feet to 90 feet. A 90-foot class 1 western red cedar pole weighs about 6,600 pounds. A 16-foot pole weighs only about 700.

Standards (from ANSI) severely limit or exclude various types of damage, including bird holes and insect boring, and describe ways of specifying the pole's straightness.

On curves, hillsides, or other locations where there's an unbalanced pull on the pole, standard practice calls for increasing the portion of the pole that is buried. For example, for poles being set along a straight line, 6 feet of a 35-foot pole would be buried, but if the pole were on a curve, 6.5 feet.

A 35-foot pole is a typical length used in cities to carry one or two crossarms. Poles are spaced about 100 feet to 150 feet apart, with 125 feet being typical."|||hard wood|||Georgia Pine coated in tar|||most likely pine, which has been pressure treated with creosote|||I pulled this from something I found online:

Dear Yahoo!:

What kinds of trees are used to make telephone poles?

Neal

New York, New York

Dear Neal:

Very tall, straight ones without any branches? Actually, after trudging through a forest of search results, we discovered that a number of different trees are used to make telephone poles.

A poem about cedars lauds the trees for their weather-resistant wood and their use as telephone poles. We have no doubt retired telecommunications officer and poet Delmar Murray knew what he was talking about, but we searched for corroboration.

According to the web site of one phone company, the most common type of tree used is the chestnut. Chestnut trees are fairly common and can grow up to 100 feet. Their wood is strong, easy to work with, and rot-resistant, making them the ideal material for telecommunication poles.

And at a woodworking web site, we learned that several types of pine trees are used as well.

If you're interested in identifying the wood of a particular pole, look for a two-letter code that is either burned into the pole or noted on a metal plate. This identifies the type of tree that gave its life in the interests of clearer communication.

How to get a free rate quote for apartment, car and health insurance?

I'm doing a school project for economics. Where is a place to get a free rate quote without giving out personal information such as your telephone? Or is this possible? What do you think?

Thanks 10 pts.|||Go to your parent's insurance agent, and just ask them for a ballpark.

You can't get a real quote without personal info, as credit score is part of the rating criteria - so you need a ballpark.

If you drive an old beater, and you're not in a major city, figure the car will cost you $1,000 a year for minimum coverage, the renters will cost you $150 a year, and the health insurance will cost you $200 a month.

Should someone tell judge Sotomayor that white men invented: cars, planes, televisions, telephone, computers?

Her comment was not racist. I thought her speech was quite excellent. I don't see how people are getting anything racist out of it.|||They oppressed women for decades. Women who could have invented more if they would have been giving the same opportunities.|||Yes, but what about the important things like peanut butter, did white guys invented that?

Can a car be advertised for sale on a public road.?

someone keeps parking their car outside my house with a for sale sign on it and a contact telephone number. the car is taxed and on a public road. is it legal to advertise the sale of a car on a public road and outside someone else's house.|||yes and no. It all depends on locality. I believe you SHOULD be able to, but in one area near me, the local government passed an ordinance so people couldn't put For Sale signs in their own cars! They said it was a nuisance and a driving hazard, as people would slow down suddenly and stop to look. I say, then take down the For Sale signs on houses, too! People would do the same thing. Jerks...Anyway, it can go either way, it won't be a national law, more a local one. You'll have to check with your local police.|||In most municipalities, I'd have to say yes. You could contact the owner and ask him (or her) to move it. If they refuse, then "star 69" them about 4am with questions about the car.

If they still refuse to move it, contact your local police department about "a possible abandoned vehicle". In my community, if a car is reported, the police make a chalk line on a tire and another on the ground. If it has not been moved in a specific amount of time after it's been 'chalked', it'll be towed and impounded at the owner's expense.|||On a public road yes. If it's in your yard then have that b towed.

What are the chances of getting a refund for a newly purchased new car which goes wrong on it's first journey?

I collected a new Fiat Panda 1.1 Active Eco from the dealer and within 8 miles of of it's first journey it overheated! The water pump had gone.

The dealer will repair it but what are the chances of getting a refund since it was just newly purchased and on its first journey?

My view of Fiat is now very low and especially from their dealing with this. Their Customer Service reply to my telephone call about it was, in effect, just "hard luck".|||You have a manufacturers warrarnty for this purpose.

Enjoy your new car.|||The manufacturer / dealer will inform you of their right to repair under warranty; have they offered you any compensation as a goodwill gesture?; tank of petrol, free service. Unfortunately things do go wrong with cars, which is why they come with a warranty.

If the same thing happens again, you may be able to claim that it's 'unfit for purpose', if it's on finance, you don't own the car and can try writing to the finance co. to see if they can offer assistance; they are obliged to look into the issue on your behalf.

If it's persistent, contact the SMM%26amp; T; the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.|||Put in writing to the dealer that you are rejecting the car formerly and expect your money back. They are still allowed to deduct a little for it now being used, despite the few miles, so it might not be a good idea and they might refuse and you will then have a fight on your hands.

I can understand your feelings toward the car but in fact this will always happen to a few people from time to time and it is bad luck you got an early hour failure. As long as the dealer is prepared to fix it then you have little argument really.|||contact the dealer tell the you want your refund. check your purchase note it should say you can return the car with in 14-days there should be no probz ....but if they are giveing you the run around then contact consumer rights with your local advise centre .. they will take it from there and you should get some results.|||Go to the papers with your story, that'll get it mended a replacement or your money back. Dealerships don't like bad feedback neither do Fiat.

Hope this helps and have a good week Hun :-)|||Fiat = "fix it again Tony"|||0% chance. You're an owner.

How can I stop stupid automated telephone calls?

Three years ago I was T-boned by an illegal unlicensed Mexican in his old beat-up pickup. As a result, I was put in the hospital for 3 days and my car was totaled. MY insurance replaced my car and MY medical insurance paid most of my hospital bill. Now, three years later, I am getting automated calls to inform me that the warranty on my car is about to expire and would I like to renew it. This is on my wrecked car! I have spoke with the agency but the calls keep coming. What next?|||every time one of the automated voices start press 8 i think it is, anyways one of the buttons tells them to remove your name from their automated list. and it dose work, after they call several times and u press the button several times but it dose work|||I do not know if USA has a sort of telephone preference service which can be contacted to stop these calls, but it may be useful if it is not recorded to say hold on please and then walk away for a while, and see how long it takes for them to get tired. the trouble is that these calls or often number withheld and if you have those numbers blocked you may not get calls from friends which you want.

My wife tells me that I am very rude to these people who are only trying to earn a living and I agree that I am sometimes but only after I have tried to get them to ring off three or four times and then they get the, "AND WHAT PART OF THE WORD NO DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND"|||Call up your telephone service provider and request that you be put on the list to not receive spam calls. Alternatively, get caller ID and don't answer calls from unknown numbers.|||Are you on the "Do Not Call Registry?" Once you're on the list, you shouldn't be disturbed. One other suggestion, is to have Caller ID installed on your phone line. You'll be able to see the phone number when the calls come in, which will allow you to ignore it. They sure are persistent aren't they?|||There is a list you can put your name on for unwanted calls, but it does not work. I keep getting letters like that in the mail because I lay my phone off the hook most of the time. My relatives know how to contact me.|||Besides listing your number on the national registry to stop telemarketing calls, you can the Direct Marketing Assn. website link here:

http://www.the-dma.org/index.php

http://www.donotcall.gov|||I get the same calls and letters in the mail as well. I'm driving a 2 year old car that has years to go on the warranty. I might try that pushing 8 thing the next call I get.|||This call is not meant for you. It is just a computer who calls everyone. Tell your congressman this is happening. Last time, they put a stop to this.|||In Canada we have a number to call to have unwanted calls dealt with. Telemarketers have to have a visible phone number too.|||My phone identifies the number of all callers. If it is a number I don't recognize, or the caller has blocked the ID thing, I don't answer. Life is good.|||That's a scam. A friend of my daughter kept getting those and he didn't even own a car. Just hang up. If you hang up enough, after a while they should stop.|||Try pressing the # key on your phone as fast as you can when they call. I think that's the key you press.|||Tell them explicitly to remove your phone number from their calling list. By law they have to comply.|||I have the do not call registry but the Toll Free calls still get through, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. Thank heaven for Caller ID.

What can happen if you drive over fallen telephone lines?

Can your tires pop or something? I know it isn't entirely good to do, but is it in terms of to the fallen wire over the road, or to your car?|||Your tires insulate you and your car from current. I would hate to have to untangle all those wires from your axle or rims if they get caught. I would not worry about getting shocked, i'm assuming your talking about power lines...

Does late payment on car insurance affect credit?

just wondering if a late payment of a bill....say my telephone bill, or car insurance affect my credit?|||Most of the time insurance companies and utilities do not report to the credit bureaus on a monthly basis. In most cases the only time you would see something from them is if you left an unpaid bill that went to collections. The best way to know for sure is to check your credit report and see what is getting reported every month. As for any account that is reported monthly I recommend that if you must pay late make sure to still pay within 30 days of the original due date. That is because the only time a "late payment" shows up on your credit is if it was 30 days or more past due. If you are for example 28 days past due this would show as "ok" or a timely payment even if you had to pay a late fee.

There can still be other consequences to paying your insurance late as Echo mentioned, it can increase your premiums, and utility companies can charge you a security deposit but for that to happen with either you would have to pay late more than just once.|||I don't think I've ever heard of an insurance company reporting on a monthly basis

Many utility companies across the country do not report on a monthly basis.

Since those companies don't report on a monthly basis they won't report a late payment.

If your utilities do report on a monthly basis then they will show any late payments you make.

Unless your utilities report on a monthly basis I doubt they or the insurance company would even report if you defaulted.

They would just turn the debts over to collectors and the collectors would report.

If you have lates on your insurance, your premiums may go up.

If you have lates on your utilities, they may require you to pay a deposit.|||The answer is no, one late payment wont affect your credit due to the fact that insurance companies and phone/power companies will only report on your credit if the account is charged-off or sent to collections which is usually 60-90 days late.|||yes, in a major way|||Your car insurance bill for sure. The insurance often base your rates on many factors including your credit score. They are some of the first to rat you out for a late payment cuz they get to charge you more for being a late payer. Cell phone companies are fast rats too, but your local phone company is far less likely to report you for a late payment.|||afraid so|||Yes, one of the biggest factors in credit score too.|||Most places have a "grace period" before it would start to affect your credit. And even after that it would take a lot more than just one late payment to really screw up your credit

Of all the possibility's we have, why invent computers, cars, telephone? I mean why did we invent what we....

did, and not other things or the same things in other ways, of all the infinite possibility's why just these in this way?

sorry, english is not my mother tounge.|||Cars, telephones, computers and the like all lead to technological advances, so hopefully as society progresses, we will be able to use the knowledge we have about these things to build more technologically advanced things. If you think about it, every thing ever made developed from a need. The telephone was invented as a better way to communicate. Before telephones there were telegraphs, before telegraphs there was just letters. People had to wait sometimes days to hear from someone they had written a letter to. In the workforce, computers were developed to make workers more productive. Cars were invented to allow people to travel to other places besides by way of train and horse and carriage, allowing them to get to their destination quicker.

At least that's my opinion....|||I think you'd really enjoy the book "Guns, Germs and Steel". It talks all about why certain civilizations developed the way they did, etc. As far as the way we invented things, there were lots of companies making computers for example, and only a few became the winners. A similar revolution is going on right now I believe with HD DVDs and Blu Ray, only one will probably win in the end, and it will be primarily market forces, technology and costs that will determine the winner.|||probably because we have to make these things before we can make other things... those things are the begining of many many other things..|||Modern conveniences and communication and the principles of capitalism.

Because that's how it worked out.|||There are things that have been invented which you will never see.

There are things which exist beyond the realm of conception.|||for the most part "new" inventions are devised to make the activities of daily living easier and more convenient.|||I guess people learn that this materials(computers, cars, etc..) are useful and people try to take advantage and try to make their car the best.. You know nowadays..Money Money Money..., but there's no reason why we can't invent other things|||I truly believe that our every thought is given to us through brain manipulation;therefore all inventions are given to us by those in control or a conscious Universe.....|||Because given what we knew at the time and what we had to work with, that's what we though would work out best.|||yeah english is a problem.

i got a major headache just from reading that question, the grammar was so bad....|||Keep in Touch !!!

Cheers|||It comes back to the same old sayings, "Necessity is the mother of Invention" and "Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door."

We invent certain things out of need. Medicines for example. Then labor saving devices, communication and transportation devices. Others are more frivolous.

The Phonograph was Edison's favorite invention but who could argue it was more important than electric light, for example. He took us out of the candle and oil latern age.

A huge improvement. Today we have digital cameras, mp3 players, sneakers with lights on them. Do we need these things? Not really. They just make things more bearable.|||There is knowledge deposited by PhD students in universities the world over which will never see the light of day because our life is too short to read and evaluate everything there is to know. So research grants go to the schemes which will either produce money or other form of benefit for humanity.

If you let someone drive your car and they wreck it who is responsible for damages?

i let a friend drive my car and she hit a telephone pole. my insurance does not cover that kind of accident. is she responsible for the damages? she said she would fix it and then backed out of it. is she legally obligated? i dont want to waste my time in court if she is not responsible for damages|||Here's how the insurance works:

The damage to the telephone pole (and yes, it will take a few months but you will get a bill for this) - is paid for by the liability policy on the car. That's your liability. This will go down as an at fault accident.

If you have collision coverage on your vehicle - that will pay for the damage to your car.

If you do not have collision coverage on your car and the driver has a policy with collision coverage on it -- you can get a letter from your company confirming no collision coverage on your vehicle and file a claim against the drivers policy. In many cases, your vehicle will qualify as a substitute auto under her policy. So (if she has collision coverage) her policy will pay for the damage to your car.

If she does not have a policy with collision coverage - you are s.o.l.

Technically, she is responsible for the damage to your car - but you will probably never see a dime. Getting a judgment is one thing - that's the easy part--- actually collecting......whole different animal and much much harder to do. And if she declares bankruptcy....*poof* you get zero.

So you will end up just having to suck up the loss.

But - when you took out your policy and chose not to purchase collision coverage - you decided to take the risk that in exchange for a lower premium - you would suck it up and take the financial hit if something happened to your car. You gambled and you lost.|||On the surface of your statement, she is not legally responsible, as you gave her permission to drive the car. The cause of the accident may determine if you would be able to take her to Small Claims Court to recover the amount of the deductible on your insurance. Depending upon the written clauses in your insurance contract (concerning other drivers of your car), they may "go after" her to recover the damage amount. But once again, giving her permission to drive your car puts you on the hook for the damage repair.|||Of course she is responsible for damages!!

She borrowed the car from you and totalled it. She obviously knew she was responsible, thats why she offered to pay for it in the beginning. If she knew she was in the right, she would have not offered.

The car was in her posession when it was destroyed. She is responsible for the repairs or to pay the value of the car.

If you are going to take it to court, try to take in a picture of the car before the crash, to show the condition, as well as a picture of the damage she did. I dont know what it is called in America, but there is a site that will give the vehicles value, go to that site and put the vehicles details in and print out the value. That is what the judge will use to determine the value of the car.

If you got the car repaired, make sure you take in the bill from the bodyshop, as well as any other bills you have related to the crash (tow truck, replacement telegraph pole, hire car, MAYBE cellphone calls)|||As you can see from the opposing answers you received, there are opinions on both sides of this issue. This is what is called a "JURY QUESTION". Only a jury can answer it.

In my experience, most likely a jury would tell you to split the damages as you both are responsible. You for loaning the car out, and the driver for hitting the pole.|||She is responsible for damages and you'll have to take her to small claims court.

Obviously you don't have collision coverage on your insurance policy. Giving her permissive use does not keep her from having to behave responsibly on the road and she doesn't have to be on your insurance policy to be allowed to drive your car!|||she is responible.idont know about legal rights but i no for a fact she is, she was holding her license..but check, if u dont have her on the insurance, then u might have to pay for it but DEFINATELY get her to pay for it, it is wrong, irresponsible and disrespectful for her not to. she isnt worth being a friend if she doesnt pay u, she isnt respecting your rights no matter if its allegal or legal.|||Even though she is responsible for the accident (and should cover the costs) you could be ticketed for allowing an uninsured driver to operate your vehicle. You can take her to court, but collecting is a whole nother story.|||well the person that owns the car shouldn't have let someone drive the car so it should be the person that owns the car that is responsible|||yes . but small claims court here you come.
