No more new inventions to make life easier?

Most of the items being invented are luxuries and entertainers. Making the life comfortable like telephone, car or medical inventions- there are no more to come? I feel space hunt is a waste.|||There are far better goals to pursue than even making life easier. How about making life sustainable? How about managing our resource consumption?|||It is hard to predict when a new invention will come along, or even what it will be. There have been several occasions in the past where people have suggested closing the US Patent office because what new inventions could be made, but then new inventions are subsequently discovered. Some scientists before Einstein even thought that there would be no new discoveries in science. Finally, we don't know what invention has been made that is just waiting for someone to figure out just how to use it. Velcro was around for a while before people realized how handy it could be. In fact, many of our modern conveniences were created for some purpose other than what we use them for, such as Alexander Graham Bell's device to talk to his deceased mother. Life is much easier when one can use the telephone to communicate with others.|||"space hunt is a waste"

Okay, get rid of GPS which is out in space and allows location of lost people. Get rid of low cost long distance telephone, which uses satellites. Get rid of cable TV almost all of which is sent to local providers by satellite. Get rid of medical services using satellite in various ways.

And easier is a curious word to use - how about safer? Isn't that more important?|||I wouldn't say that. There are many things to be invented that would make life more easier. For example, diabetics have to take three or four needles a day. (I am not familiar with the exact number). That is because insulin can't survive the stomach. So i hear they are working on a pill that can survive in the stomach. An insulin pill would be a great invention.|||you should see it carefully that every second there is a new invention happening.

while you are reading this answer medical sciences would have created a a new gene for treatment of a certain disease.

chemistry would have created a new medicine that can treat cancer just orally.

and dont you know every second science is advancing at such a rate which was impossible earlier.|||USB- Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a specification to establish communication between devices and a host controller (usually a personal computer)

PENDRIVE are the storage medium on which we store data. it is made of a flash memory data storage device integrated with a USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface.

( flash memory is integrated with USB interface to make it work . that is why PENDRIVE is also know as usbflashdrive

Consider, at the turn of the last century, only the wealthy had many conveniences - including electricity.|||After every few days or weeks new inventions are coming up. Already our life is so easy, you want your life to be more easy, there is no end of that.|||Always, there will be new things to be invented.|||BUT THEIR ARE MANY MORE INVENTION THE CAN TAKE PLACE .
