I parked my car in a designated parking spot in a holiday park?

somebody telephoned the police and they said it was abandoned so the car was took away now it is going to cost about 拢300.00 to recover the vehicle is this legal. It is taxed and tested.|||now tell us the whole story.

Cars get towed away if they are

a. parked illegally

b. blocking the highway

c . blocking driveways or emergency access points

d. if they are abandoned without tax and the last known registered keeper is not contactable.

they do not get towed away for nothing if they are taxed and insured etc.

j|||If it was a designated parking spot im sure they wouldnt have just towed your car. Are u sure there wasnt a sign that said max stay "so many hours" ? Cos if there was and u were parked there more than the max stay i guess the parking attendent would have had to get it towed. If it was a designated parking spot there would have been a parking attendent so maybe u should track him down?|||Cmon , use your head for something other then a HAT RACK. It's your own fault.|||"I parked my car in a designated parking spot in a holiday park"

And then what? Walked off and left it there without being a customer? Left it over night? Cars don't get ordered towed without cause. What are you leaving out here? Perhaps a sign "Customer parking only" and you weren't, or "No overnight parking" and you did?

Tell us the rest of it. And in most cases you can contact the person (apparently the police in your case) and ask for a review. Did you do that?

You say it's "going to cost", does this mean you didn't get it yet? If not do so now, or the bill will go up by the daily storage rate.|||If it was not designated for your use then yes it is legal as you should not have parked there.
