What should I do if an illegal immigrant is threatening,worrying or harrassing me over a cell telephone?

I do not want to fill out a restraining order because of fear that the threats might be carried out against me. I am a U.S. citizen. I have noticed that the police take the harrassers car, but he is left free to go walking.The police do not know he is a harrasser because he acts like a nice man to others.Thank you for your help.|||Can you make a recording of these phone calls? Report the offense. When you report it, you must tell the authorities that you fear retribution so they can be put on notice and act accordingly. Let the legal system work for you. Do not try to remedy the situation any other way. If the offender was a U.S. citizen, I would recommend the same course of action.
